After 6 seasons of plowing a gravel driveway that is 1/8 mile long, I spent days each spring replacing gravel and sod that were displaced with my Kioti loader and rear blade. I saw your ad for Edge Tamers in Hobby Farms magazine, and felt it was worth a try. I installed the 3 Edge Tamers in minutes, and now am able to plow without tearing up my driveway and lawn. Since piling snow around my property involves plowing across the grass and fields, I no longer worry about huge chunks of turf being dug up with the loader. I just wanted to express my appreciation for your speedy delivery and clever use of the USPS "If it fits, it ships" Flat Rate Priority Mail! The three Edge Tamers and Edge Extenders came yesterday (Weds) after ordering them on Monday. I installed them this morning and used them then and this evening. Great workmanship! Great idea! These are beefy units and I expect them to last forever. They work as advertised keeping the gravel on our 200 ft driveway and keeping me from performing any more impressive sod cutting with the bare bucket. The one thing I realized immediately is the time they save me. With the bare bucket, it takes longer to ensure that the bucket is level or just above level to keep from gouging. I can now drop the bucket, tweak it and go.
I also used the Edge Extenders tonight to move an ice encrusted 16 ft 6" x 6" that has been in my way, but too heavy and awkward to move. The Edge Tamers made it a breeze.
Also, I found that placing a 2" x 12" x 54" plank on the edge extenders doubled my bucket capacity for moving firewood. It was great. I could load double the amount in one trip with nothing fancier than a plank. I hand load and off-load the bucket onto our porch.
You have to understand that I dont get this effusive about most products. Yours have saved me so much grief and time in the short time I have had them.
Thanks for a great product that I will put many hours on, in fact they will stay on until I need to cut sod or do some digging.

When I purchase a new tool it always helps to hear of other users experiences. So now Im offering my experience to you.
This past winter my wifes office accumulated over a foot of snow which had become too crusted for the sidewalk snow blower. It was time to put the EdgeTamer on the skid steer and take it to town.
The bucket on the skid steer is 6 feet wide. The side walk is about four feet wide. In previous use of the skid steer on the side walk the grass on both edges had taken a severe beating. With the EdgeTamer on the bucket the office side walk and the walks of two neighbors were cleaned in a matter of minutes and the lawns suffered not even a scratch.
As an added bonus, the skid steer allowed me to not only plow snow but pick it up and move it out of the way when necessary. Almost like the nail that holds on the horseshoe, The EdgeTamer allowed me to make short work out of a big job with no regrets.

I read about the Edge Tamer on TractorByNet and the poster gave a glowing review based on his experience with them.
After reading his review, I went online and bought a set of the 3" along with the Edge Extenders. They came quickly in the mail and the day after I got them I went out to put them on my Kubota BX25D bucket for a real time test on various surfaces. The installation couldnt be simpler (just slide them on the bucket edge and tighten the supplied bolt). Off I went to plow my frozen gravel driveway and various places on my lawn where I clear space for my dog and my woodpiles. After testing the on all my surfaces, I can only say WOW! These work as advertised! The bucket, without the Edge Tamers would float but soon it would dive and catch dirt/grass/gravel etc. With the Edge Tamers the bucket GLIDES smoothly without diving and leaves a little snow behind which is exactly what I want them to do!
What a pleasure knowing wherever I go with my tractor to do bucket work, there will be NO MORE scraping lawn or gravel, just a smooth, sweeping scoop like I was a professional operator. The Edge Tamer is a tool that I will use time and time again with nothing but satisfaction in the way they WORK, the way theyre built, and the way they install in less than a minute! As a bonus I also bought the Edge Extenders for moving things around like lumber, logs and pallets with ease and no worry of trying to balance the load on top of the bucket.
All in all a perfect and inexpensive way to get more chores done with my already, versatile and handy sub-compact tractor.

This was our first winter in our new home in The Adirondack Mountains east of Lake Ontario where we get tons of snow. I wasnt sure how I would move all the snow, either buy a snow blower or use my tractor and bucket and tear our driveway up. Then at Empire Farm Days I saw the Edge Tamers and thought they were the answer. I bought a pair and they worked great. I cant imagine what it would be like without them. Thanks for a great product.
I primarily used my drag blade to clean our drive and those of our neighbors as well as our graveled county road, but then use the bucket with the Edge Tamers to clean up mounds and ridges, primarily at driveways. The Edge Tamers worked well and left the gravel where its supposed to stay. While it would have been nice if the gravel was completely clean of snow, I dont mind the approximately 1/2" of snow that the Edge Tamers leave because the sun can melt that and one can drive on it without any problem. Ill take 1/2" of snow left on the gravel rather than having everything scraped clean or gouged and have to do gravel work in the Spring! Youve got a good product. I would and have recommended this to others.
The Edge Tamers worked perfectly, kept the blade just off of the gravel and when there was sufficient base down they come off in seconds. For a novice tractor operator like myself they have been invaluable. The extra effort you guys made in helping me make the purchase says a lot about your company; I show my Edge Tamers off every chance I get. In closing I have nothing but praise for your company and your product and in this day and age you dont get to say that too often. I havent had the opportunity to try the Edge Extenders yet as all we have done this winter is plow snow but judging on the performance of the Edge Tamers I look forward to putting them to work.

Here are some pictures of the product installed. This is of the size 4 in model produced. They are simple bolted on (NO HOLES) with 1 bolt and washer to provide tension to the bucket underneath it. They keep the blade 1/2 inch above the blacktop,gravel, grass surface without any scratching of the blacktop. I bucketed all day yesterday/today without any digging into the grass areas. This was the first time using them, and it was worth the investment!
The weather was sunny today, so I spent some time clearing over a foot of snow, in my front yard and gravel driveway. I have a number of out buildings on my property, where I store miscellaneous equipment. I used my John Deere with your Edge Tamers, to clear a path to the barn, where I shelter a small utility trailer. The snow was still so deep, I couldnt use my Gator to tow the trailer to the barn. After making a number of passes with my tractor, I was able to cut a path and tow my trailer to the barn. Its amazing that I never once, hit gravel or grass using your Edge Tamers.
